The most common problems with the Account Lookup Station, causing a student network account creation to fail, are:

  • Not yet registered
  • Student entering information incorrectly
  • Mismatch between student's real birthday & what Datatel system has
  • Mismatch between student's name & what Datatel system has
  • Wrong student ID number being entered

 

Error: "Sorry, we cannot find you in our system"
Check Datatel for exact name spelling, correct birthdate, and make sure they are using the correct 7-digit Datatel id.
Existing WebCT account?
If a student has already used their account in WebCT but never for a computer lab or laptop, they still need to use Account Lookup screen to register for CABT 510 to use a computer.
