The most common problems with the Account Lookup Station, causing a student network account creation to fail, are:
- Not yet registered
- Student entering information incorrectly
- Mismatch between student's real birthday & what Datatel system has
- Mismatch between student's name & what Datatel system has
- Wrong student ID number being entered
- Error: "Sorry, we cannot find you in our system"
- Check Datatel for exact name spelling, correct birthdate, and make sure they are using the correct 7-digit Datatel id.
- Existing WebCT account?
- If a student has already used their account in WebCT but never for a computer lab or laptop, they still need to use Account Lookup screen to register for CABT 510 to use a computer.
